Jackie and Terry Jacombs live in the Cotswolds in England.

This homepage is the entry point to a several different subjects of interest to either or both of us.

One of our children was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 1999. We quickly discovered that support and information for the parents of young children with diabetes in the United Kingdom was variable or in many cases non existent. Jackie has since spent a lot of time helping rectify this and the diabetes part of the site provides information and links to many useful sites and resources.

Terry's father began research into his family history in the late 1980s. Terry became interested in this in the mid 1990s and has taken the research considerably further since then. The family history part of the site presents a sub-set of this research and outlines the much more extensive information available by contacting Terry. Jackie's mother has also researched her family history and at some stage a summary of this may be added to the site.
